One week into the private beta, and the first wave of teams has already logged more than 400 meetings on Velo Meet. The feedback is direct, occasionally blunt, and exactly what we asked for. True to the deal we made — influence for honesty — here is the roadmap it's shaping, dates included.

And you don't need a beta seat to weigh in anymore: our public testing MVP is live at vellomeet.netlify.app. Open it, run a meeting, and tell us what to improve — MVP feedback flows into the same backlog as beta feedback.

What the first week taught us

  • The resilience story lands. The most-quoted moment in feedback so far: a beta user's call surviving a Wi-Fi-to-LTE handoff mid-presentation. Voice never dropped. This is the product working as designed, and it's what people mention first.
  • Recaps are stickier than we expected. Post-meeting summaries are being forwarded to people who weren't in the meeting — which tells us they need share controls, not just polish.
  • Calendar friction is the #1 complaint. Copying links by hand is beneath the product. Heard, loudly.

The roadmap

July — Beta hardening

  1. Calendar integrations (Google Calendar and Outlook) — mid-July
  2. Recap share controls — owner approval before summaries leave the room
  3. Weekly beta waves continue; seat count grows to the full 500

August — Scale and openness

  1. Meetings up to 100 participants, with the same voice-first guarantees
  2. Mobile apps (iOS and Android) enter beta alongside the browser client
  3. Public transparency report — the network performance numbers from our June engineering deep-dive, re-measured under real beta load and published, better or worse

September — Public launch

Velo Meet opens to everyone this September, with simple per-seat pricing announced in August. Beta participants keep their early-supporter rates permanently — that promise is not changing.

Roadmaps are promises with dates. We publish ours because we intend to keep them — and because you should get to hold us to it.

Still time to get in

Beta waves are admitted every Monday through August. If you want to shape the platform before the world gets it, email beta@nidtechnologies.com or reach us through the contact form. Or start right now: try the MVP and hit reply with your thoughts.

To everyone already testing: thank you. Keep the blunt feedback coming — it's working.
