Spring Hill, FL — Today, NID Technologies is proud to officially announce Velo Meet, a real-time video meetings platform built from the transport layer up on the same carrier-grade principles that guide our consulting practice.

Last week we shared why we're building it. Today we're telling you what it is.

What Velo Meet is

Velo Meet is a browser-first meetings platform for teams that can't afford to lose a conversation. No downloads, no plugins, no "please update to join." A link opens a room, and the room holds — because underneath it sits a media network that behaves like a carrier, not like an app.

The headline features

  • Sub-second joins. From click to conversation in under a second on typical connections. Meetings should start when people arrive, not when software finishes negotiating.
  • Adaptive edge routing. Your media doesn't take the default internet path — it takes the healthiest one, re-evaluated continuously during the call.
  • Voice-first resilience. When bandwidth collapses, Velo Meet sheds video gracefully and protects audio absolutely. A meeting with clear voices survives; a meeting with frozen faces and garbled sound does not.
  • End-to-end encryption by default. Not a toggle, not a tier. The architecture assumes the transport is hostile and encrypts accordingly.
  • Meeting intelligence. Live transcription, automatic summaries, and extracted action items — delivered to participants the moment the call ends.

Who it's for

We're building first for the teams we know best from our consulting work: healthcare practices, legal and financial firms, distributed engineering teams, and any organization where "can you hear me now?" carries a real cost. If your meetings are operationally important — not just socially convenient — Velo Meet is aimed at you.

"Every meetings platform demos beautifully on office fiber. Velo Meet is engineered for the hotel Wi-Fi, the rural clinic, the client site with one bar of LTE. That's where meetings actually happen — and that's where we win."

What happens next

Between now and public launch, we'll be publishing regular updates right here in the newsroom:

  1. An engineering deep-dive into the real-time network behind the platform
  2. A look at our design philosophy and the product experience
  3. The opening of our private beta — limited seats, early July
  4. The public launch roadmap

We've spent our careers keeping other people's communications alive. Velo Meet is that experience, condensed into a product. We can't wait to show you.
