It's here. As of today, the Velo Meet private beta is accepting participants. Everything we've written about over the past month — the adaptive network, the five-second experience, voice-first resilience, default end-to-end encryption — is now in the hands of real teams, on real networks, in real meetings.
Can't wait for a beta seat? You don't have to. A public testing MVP is live at vellomeet.netlify.app — open it in your browser, try a meeting, and send us your thoughts so we can improve the application. It's an early build, and that's the point: your feedback lands while the concrete is still wet.
The shape of the beta
- 500 seats, admitted in weekly waves through July and August
- Browser-based — Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox; nothing to install
- Full feature set: meetings up to 50 participants, screen-share, live transcription, and post-meeting summaries
- Free during beta, with early-supporter pricing locked in for participants at launch
What we ask of you
This is a working beta, not a marketing preview. We're admitting teams who will use Velo Meet for meetings that matter and tell us the truth about it. Concretely:
- Use it on your worst networks. The client site, the train, the coffee shop. Office fiber teaches us nothing.
- Report the moments, not just the bugs. "The call felt uncertain when X happened" is as valuable to us as a stack trace.
- Join one feedback call a month. Thirty minutes with the people actually building the product — engineers included, always.
What you get in return
Beyond free usage and launch pricing: direct access. Beta participants share a channel with our engineering team, see the roadmap before it's public, and genuinely shape what ships. The teams in our earliest internal pilots have already changed how degradation states are displayed and how summaries are formatted. That's the deal — influence for honesty.
We'd rather have 500 demanding users than 50,000 polite ones.
How to join
Email beta@nidtechnologies.com with your team size and a sentence about the meetings you can't afford to lose — or use the contact form and select "Velo Meet — MVP feedback or beta." Waves are admitted every Monday. Next week, we'll publish the roadmap from beta to public launch.
